Lead the Project

Terms of Use

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to leadtheproject.com (the “Site”) and to any training, group program, coaching, book, digital product, or other service offered by Lead the Project (the “Services”). Lead the Project is operated by Everyone Needs a Steve, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“Lead the Project,” “we,” or “us”).

By using the Site, registering for a program, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or take part in the Services.

Who the Services Are For

Our Services are for people planning, managing, or taking part in residential renovation projects, whether on their own home or on a residential property they own, manage, or invest in. They are not designed for commercial projects, such as office, retail, industrial, or hospitality renovations, and the content may not fit them. You are responsible for deciding whether the Services are right for your project.

Educational Purpose

Lead the Project provides educational content, training, coaching, and general guidance for people involved in residential renovation projects.

The information we provide is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, real estate brokerage, insurance, engineering, architectural, construction-code, or licensed contractor advice. Taking part in our Services does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

We do not act as a general contractor, project manager, or inspector on your project, and we are not a party to any contract between you and a contractor or other professional.

You remain responsible for your own project decisions, contracts, payments, hiring decisions, inspections, permits, professional advice, and compliance with applicable laws and requirements.

No Guarantee of Results

Renovation projects involve variables outside our control. No specific project result, financial outcome, contractor performance, schedule, cost, savings, profit, or property value is guaranteed.

Examples, case studies, and testimonials describe individual experiences on particular projects. They may not be typical, and they are not a promise that you will have the same experience.

Programs and Services

Lead the Project may offer live trainings, group coaching, one-on-one guidance, books, digital products, and related educational resources.

The description, price, dates, availability, and any offer-specific terms shown at the time of registration or purchase form part of your agreement.

Payments

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated and do not include applicable sales or similar taxes, which are added at checkout where required. Payments may be processed through third-party providers such as Kit and Stripe. You agree to provide accurate billing and registration information.

If you have a concern about a charge, please email info@leadtheproject.com before disputing it with your bank or card issuer so we can resolve it quickly.

Promotional Pricing

Promotional or launch pricing is available only for the period or quantity stated with the offer. When an offer ends, the price shown at checkout applies. A promotional price does not create a right to a retroactive price adjustment.

Intellectual Property

Lead the Project materials, including written content, training materials, frameworks, graphics, recordings, and templates, belong to Everyone Needs a Steve, LLC. We license them to you for your personal use only.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, resold, published, or used to create competing commercial materials without our written permission.

Live Sessions

Live sessions are held on Zoom or a similar platform, which has its own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for joining on time and for having a compatible device and a reliable internet connection. Your access link is for you alone and may not be shared. Please do not share sensitive information, such as account numbers or passwords, during a session.

Session dates, access instructions, and material availability may vary by offer. If we cancel or materially reschedule a session, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

Recording and Sharing of Live Sessions

To protect our materials and the privacy of everyone taking part, attendees may not audio record, video record, screen record, livestream, photograph, use automated transcription or recording tools, or otherwise capture any part of a live session without our prior written permission. You may take written notes for your own personal use.

Session content, participant discussions, screenshots, recordings, transcripts, and other materials from a live session may not be reproduced, posted, shared publicly, sold, or given to others without our written permission.

If you need captions, a transcript, or another accommodation because of a disability, email info@leadtheproject.com before the session and we will work with you in good faith on a reasonable accommodation.

We may record some sessions, for example to offer a replay. If we plan to record a session, we will notify participants before recording begins and obtain any consent required by applicable law. When appropriate, participants may be asked to provide affirmative consent before the recording begins. If you prefer not to appear or be heard in a recording, you may turn off your camera and microphone and contact info@leadtheproject.com about available options. We will not use a recording of you in marketing without your written permission.

Participation Guidelines

To keep sessions useful and respectful for everyone:

Right to Decline or End Participation

We may decline, pause, remove a participant from, or end a training, group program, coaching relationship, or other service for legitimate business or conduct reasons. Examples include disruptive behavior, harassment, threats, repeated disregard of the Participation Guidelines or professional boundaries, misuse of our materials, conduct that interferes with other participants, or a reasonable determination that the engagement is no longer productive or within the scope of the service.

In group settings, we may remove a participant when reasonably necessary to keep the group orderly, respectful, and productive. In one-on-one services, scheduled session lengths and the agreed scope of coaching will be respected, and repeated efforts to extend sessions or disregard reasonable boundaries may result in the engagement being ended.

If we end a paid service, any refund due is handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We use this discretion for lawful, non-discriminatory reasons, and it does not permit discrimination prohibited by applicable law.

Your Content and Feedback

You keep ownership of the questions, project details, photos, and documents you share with us, and you allow us to use them to deliver our Services. We may draw general lessons from questions and projects discussed in our Services for our educational materials and books, with names and identifying details removed. We will not use your name, photos, or identifiable project details in marketing or public content without your written permission.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely. If you give us a testimonial, you confirm it is honest and reflects your own experience.

Third-Party Services and Links

This Site may link to or rely on third-party services. Lead the Project is not responsible for the availability, security, policies, or content of third-party websites or platforms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so part of this section may not apply to you.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVERYONE NEEDS A STEVE, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR BUSINESS LOSSES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM THE SITE, ANY EDUCATIONAL CONTENT, OR THE SERVICES.

ANY DIRECT LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PAID LEAD THE PROJECT PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THAT SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE.

In plain terms, this section limits what you can recover from us if something goes wrong, and you agree these limits are a fair part of the bargain reflected in the price. It does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, fraud, or willful misconduct.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Before filing a claim, please email info@leadtheproject.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. A claim that is not resolved this way must be brought in the state courts located in DeKalb County, Georgia, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and you and we consent to those courts.

General Terms

If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These Terms, the policies they reference, and any offer-specific terms shown at checkout are our whole agreement about the Services. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes

We may update these Terms as our offerings or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date and applies going forward. Changes do not alter the terms of a purchase you have already made, unless you agree or the change is required by law. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept it.
