Privacy Policy

Lead the Project respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use leadtheproject.com (the “Site”), register for a training, join an interest list, schedule a call, or make a purchase.

The Site and our services are provided by Everyone Needs a Steve, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company operating as Lead the Project (“Lead the Project,” “we,” or “us”).

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Kit and Stripe. Lead the Project does not receive or store your full payment card number.

How We Use Information

Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the Site and deliver our services, including Netlify for website hosting, Kit for forms, email, products, and customer communications, Stripe for payment processing, and Zoom for live sessions. These providers handle information under their own privacy practices and applicable law.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above as needed to deliver our services, when required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

Live Sessions and Recordings

Live sessions are held on Zoom. If we record a session, we will tell you in advance. A recording may include your name, voice, image, and comments. We keep recordings only as long as reasonably needed to deliver and improve our programs, make them available only to participants in that program, and will not use a recording of you in marketing without your written permission.

Marketing Communications

If you join an interest list or otherwise consent to receive updates, we may send you information about Lead the Project programs and residential renovation resources.

Emails sent through Kit may show us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent when necessary.

Cookies and Technical Information

The Site and the third-party services used on it, such as Stripe’s checkout and Kit’s forms, may use cookies or similar technologies needed for website functionality, forms, security, and payment processing.

We do not use advertising cookies and do not track you across other websites. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy.

Data Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, but no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your Choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. Email info@leadtheproject.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Where We Operate

The Site and our services are operated from the United States and intended for use here. If you use them from elsewhere, your information will be handled in the United States.
